3rd day Devlog


day three-

  • i textured the walls floor and roof.
  • created the level/maze and blocked out where all the important things will be
  • created menus and main menu screen

notes:

ill be moving onto sound design tomorrow after i complete the broken wall model/textures. I don't have much experience or knowledge with implementing the sounds in a 3d space and i would like to have interactive music so that when you are being chased the music ramps up but im not sure how to do that or if ill be able to make a music track that works for this. i plan to have all the sound design stuff done tomorrow so then on the last day i can focus on more models like paintings on the walls and more textures for the walls so the it brings the place to life.

I want to add animations to the face of the monster but im not sure how to rig it and i probably dont have time. i also want animations for the hammer and torch when you are walking and a head bobbing movement.

on the last day ill be added all the extras to spice up the game more, like little cinematics, game feel stuff like screen shake when the monster is close and more models to make the place feel like an actual place.

ill be adding like a stamina bar for the sprinting so the player will have to watch out and make sure they have enough stamina to run away when needed.
